The Siena Heights women's lacrosse team was picked fourth in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Preseason Coaches' Poll as announced by the league office on Saturday.
Indiana Tech earned five first-place votes and totaled 93 points to tie for the top spot on the poll with Lawrence Tech who received four of the first-place votes. Aquinas gathered one first-place vote for the third spot on the standings with 78 points.
The Saints registered 72 points for fourth-place followed by Lourdes with 62 points. Cleary recorded 44 points for the sixth spot followed by Madonna with 40. Concordia (38), Bethel (Ind.) (19), and Rochester (11) finished off the poll.
Siena finished third in last season's standings with a league mark of 4-2. The Saints kick off the year with a road game against SCAD on Monday, March 4. The game is set to begin at 6:00 p.m.
