The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2022 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes and NAIA Scholar Team awards. The Siena Heights Women's Lacrosse Program had nine student-athletes and their 2021-2022 team earn these distinctions.
In order to be nominated for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended two full years as a non-transfer or one full year as a transfer. The Saints were tied for the 2nd most women's lacrosse student-athletes honored.
For a team to be awarded, they must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale for the academic year. The Saints had the 7th highest GPA among women's lacrosse teams in the NAIA and the highest in the WHAC.

Marissa Cirino (3rd time), graduate student, MBA-accounting major from Plymouth, Michigan
Bella D'Arcy (1st time), senior, business major from Hartland, Michigan
Kristin Delclos (2nd time), senior, biology major from Warrenton, Virginia
Shanterra Holmes (1st time), junior, biology major from Flint, Michigan
Tori Jennings (1st time), senior, graphic design major from Tecumseh, Michigan
Hannah Merrick (1st time), senior, nursing major from South Lyon, Michigan
Julia Porchetta (1st time), junior, nursing major from Avon, Ohio
Emily Pringle (1st time), junior, chemistry major from Novi, Michigan
Amber Soukup (2nd time), senior, special education major from Oxford, Michigan
The Saints team was honored with their 5th NAIA Scholar Team Award and 5th straight honor with a 3.42 team GPA. The award has been an honor for 15 years.
