Corey Ness was named the Interim Head Coach for the Siena Heights men's volleyball team on August 14, 2022, following the departure of coach Chris McKim. Ness is in her first season with the men’s volleyball team and her third season as an assistant for the women’s volleyball team. She became the first coach at SHU to receive the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Mideast Region Assistant Coach of the Year award during the 2021 season.
Corey played Division I volleyball at Eastern Michigan and won a MAC West title in 2005. She graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in education.
After graduating college, Corey actively coached high school and club for Bedford HS, Monroe HS, Ida HS, and Toledo Volleyball Club. She was most recently the assistant coach at Bedford High School of Temperance, Mich., and tournament director for Toledo Volleyball Club. Before joining the staff at Bedford, she was the head coach at Monroe High School for 3 years and coached the JV team at Ida High School.
