ADRIAN, Mich. -- Ricardo Pinheiro and Logan Bush scored second-half goals and head coach Aldo Zid claimed his 300th victory as a collegiate soccer coach as the Siena Heights men's soccer team earned a 2-0 decision against Cleary in non-conference action on Saturday.
Ricardo tallied in the 75th minute, getting assists from Bryant M. White and Alex Santos. Santos knocked a through ball to White down the right side and then White hit Ricardo with a pass in front of the goal mouth.
Bush knocked in an insurance goal during the 86th. White took a corner kick which Matthew Robinet knocked with a flick header to Bush.
Brandon Gonzalez started and finished the game in net for SHU (7-7-1), but played only 57:48 due to a brief injury. He had two saves while relief goalie Lucas Sagaert made three key saves while Gonzalez was removed.
For Cleary (2-13), goaltender Kyle Gill stopped eight shots.
The Saints will return to action on Wednesday with their final regular season home game. Michigan-Dearborn will visit for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
