ADRIAN, Mich. -- Jason Uribe and Ricardo Pinheiro scored goals for the Siena Heights men's soccer team as the Saints defeated Marygrove, 2-0, in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play on Wednesday at O'Laughlin Stadium.

Uribe jumped on a rebound during the 44th minute and put the Saints ahead just before the break. Bryant M. White, who took a penalty kick that clanged off the bar, was credited with an assist.

Pinheiro added an insurance goal in the 72nd, getting assists from White and Brandon Riddle.

Brandon Gonzalez was the winning goalkeeper for SHU (5-3-1, 2-0-0), finishing with nine saves.

Levanno Lewis was the goalie for Marygrove (6-2-0, 1-1-0). He had four saves.

Siena Heights will be in action next on Saturday with a 1 p.m. WHAC game at Concordia.
