The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes. The Siena Heights Women's Cross Country Program had four student-athletes earn this distinction.
In order to be nominated for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year.
Earning the award for the Saints was:
Haley Bell (1st time), junior, English major from Charlotte, Michigan
Brooke Hildebrandt (3rd time), senior, biology major and chemistry minor from Adrian, Michigan
Hannah Leupold (1st time), sophomore, accounting major from Adrian, Michigan
Perla Reyes (1st time), senior, criminal justice major from Battle Creek, Michigan
