Elaine Johnson led the Saints to a third place finish at the Mel Brodt Collegiate Open hosted by Bowling Green State University.
Johnson was the fastest of five Saints to finish with a sub 20 minute race. Johnson completed the course in 18:59.
Ashley Russo came in with a time of 19:07, followed by Lindsay Larsen (19:40), Mariah Ridal (19:45), and Lucia Alfaro (19:46). The Saints finished in third place behind two NCAA Division I schools.
Siena Heights will return to action on Friday September 19th when they travel to South Bend, Indiana to compete at the National Catholic Invitational hosted by Notre Dame.
