BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- The Siena Heights women's wrestling team placed sixth out of 10 squads at the Mid-South Championships, which took place Thursday and Friday.
Valeria Ahumada was the Saints' top place-finisher, taking fourth in the 109-pound weight bracket. She was 2-2 in tournament competition, earning a pinfall and decision.
Bo Geibe placed fifth at 170. She was 2-2 on the mat with a decision victory and injury default win.
Mallory Chunat (136) had a 2-3 day on the mat, ultimately finishing sixth after losing in the fifth-place match. She also had a pinfall and decision.
