ADRIAN, Mich. – The Saints women's wrestling program will host its first-ever prospect camp on Saturday, June 4, inside the SHU Fieldhouse.
Current high school wrestlers may attend the camp, but it is limited to 25 wrestlers in order for the coaching staff to evaluate wrestlers adequately.
"This is a great opportunity for prospective student-athletes to have a chance to be evaluated and rub elbows with college wrestlers," said Head Coach Dominic Adams. "We will have ladies who will be on our first team in program history on hand, and we will be teaching high-percentage scoring techniques. Wrestlers and parents can then see our beautiful campus during a tour following the mat session."
The camp costs $20 and includes a t-shirt, two hours of wrestling instruction, and a campus tour afterward.
Check-in starts at 10:30 a.m., and the camp runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be shower facilities available after the camp.

Women's wrestling at Siena Heights will hit the mats for the first time during the 2022-23 school year. It is one of the fastest-growing sports at the high school and youth levels in the country.
