ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team opened Homecoming Weekend with a 3-1 victory over WHAC opponent Defiance on Friday at the SHU Fieldhouse. Set scores were 18-25, 22-25, 25-21, 21-25.

Devyne Eisenhauer had an all-around effort worth 11 kills, 10 digs, four blocks and three aces. Kadie Morse put down 12 kills.

Bianca Hobson finished with nine kills and three total blocks. Sarai Villegas added eight kills.

Mallory Johnson and Courtney Johnson made 26 and 21 assists, respectively.

Anna Bourbeau and Ella Swoish hammered four aces each. Swoish also had 11 digs. Mya Krohn led the defensive effort with 17 digs.

The Saints (8-10, 3-6) will return to competition Saturday with a 2 p.m. WHAC home contest against Lourdes.
