Upcoming for the Saints: The Siena Heights women's volleyball team has three more WHAC matches this week. The first match of the week is on the road at Concordia (Mich.) before a home match against Madonna. The week finishes up with a match at Indiana Tech.

 

Head Coach: Kim Berrington enters her sixth season as the head coach for the Saints. She is in her sixth season with the Saints with a record of 103-67 overall and 54-48 in the conference.

 

Protect This House: The Saints are 61-30 at home since 2013. In the SHU Fieldhouse, Siena is only being outscored in the first set (145-131) this season. That is also the only set that the Saints have a losing record in (2-4) when playing matches at home.

 

On the Road: The Saints are 2-1 so far this season on the road. Siena hasn't lost in the first set on the road this season (3-0). They are 2-1 in both the second and third set, and 0-1 in the fourth. There has been no road match enter the fifth set yet this season.

 

Infusion of Youth: Several freshmen have made their presence known on the court this season for the Saints. Kinsey Wagner is second on the team in kills with 58 (2.07 k/s). Aubrey Bates is third in kills (43) and leads the team in assists (288). She is also active defensively as she has a team-high 100 digs (2nd on team). Samantha Getson sits fifth on the squad in kills with 43 (1.79 k/s).

 

The Saints have had six freshman play in 118 total sets so far this season. Bates has the most sets played among freshmen with 35. Wagner has played in 28, Getson in 24, Cailynn Sullivan in 13, Payton Osborne in 10, and Kadie Carsten in eight.
