Mercy, Morgan Named NAIA Scholar-Athletes

Two of Siena Heights women's volleyball players were recognized as Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the NAIA recently.

The honorees include seniors Haley Mercy and Nicole Morgan.

Mercy majors in Mathematics and Morgan has her focus on Sport Management. Both were honored on the 2015 Academic All-Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Team as well. Mercy and Morgan are now two-time NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

In order to be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status. A total of 428 women were recognized.
