Women's Volleyball's Vukaj Named All-WHAC First Team, Four Others Honored by Conference

Sophomore Leze Vukaj was named to the All-Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference First Team, highlighting the Siena Heights women's volleyball team's honorees, which were announced Thursday by the league.

Senior Nicole Morgan was recognized as an All-WHAC Honorable Mention while freshman Taylor Felver was named to the WHAC All-Freshman Team.

Heading into the WHAC Tournament, Vukaj leads the WHAC in blocks 120 (1.13 per set) and ranks fourth in WHAC in both hitting percentage (.308) and kills (3.31 per set). She has totaled 351 kills during the season.

Morgan rates fifth in the WHAC in digs (4.42 per set) and seventh in aces (0.38). She totals 469 digs and 40 aces.

Felver has 180 kills (1.80 per set), a .191 hitting percentage and compiled 199 digs (1.99 per set).

Morgan was also honored on the WHAC Champions of Character Team. She and fellow seniors Haley Mercy and Carly Tillotson were named to the Academic All-WHAC Team.
