Richards Triples; Valentine, Lumbrezer Also Winners For Women's T&F at Central Michigan

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Linnearia Richards claimed 3 of 5 individual wins earned by the Siena Heights women's indoor track and field team on Friday at Central Michigan's Jack Skoog Open.

Richards was victorious in the 200-meter dash, 60 hurdles and long jump. Emma Valentine added a win in the high jump and Jordan Lumbrezer took first in the weight throw.

Richards won the 60 hurdles with an NAIA provisional time of 8.75 seconds. Teammate Faith Jackson also had a provisional in preliminaries -- with an 8.77 -- but did not place during finals.

Richards' 200 time was 26.05 seconds and her distance in the long jump was 18 feet, 3 1/4 inches (5.57 meters).

Valentine cleared 5-7 (1.70m) for her win in the high jump. Lumbrezer's toss was 49-4 1/2 (15.05m).
