MARION, Ind. -- Siena Heights high jumper Emma Valentine tied for eighth to earn All-America honors as the Saints wrapped up their season at the NAIA Outdoor Championships. SHU tied for 20th with 11 points at Indiana Wesleyan.

Valentine cleared 1.68 meters (5 feet, 6 1/4 inches) in the high jump.

Linnearia Richards competed in the 400-meter-hurdle finals, placing ninth in 1:03.39 on Friday.

Richards and teammate Faith Jackson had competed in the 100 hurdle prelims on Thursday, finishing 19th and 27th, respectively, with times of 14.73 and 14.97 seconds.
