JOLIET, Ill. -- Emma Valentine won the high jump with an NAIA auto height as the Siena Heights women's outdoor track and field team competed at the Fighting Chance Invitational, which was hosted by Saint Francis (Ill.).
Valentine had a winning height of 1.74 meters (5 feet, 8 1/2 inches), which was a season-best mark. Teammate Morgan Lutton placed fourth at 1.60m (5-3).
Margherita Conrad also hit an auto mark, doing so in the pole vault at 3.65m (11-11 3/4). She placed fourth.
Linnearia Richards had a provisional time while placing sixth in the 100-meter-hurdles preliminaries. She had a time of 14.54 seconds and did not compete in finals.
Richards also competed in long jump, distancing 5.65m (18-6 1/2).
