JACKSON, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's golf team sits in first place after Friday's competition at the Spring Arbor Intercollegiate, which is taking place at Cascades Golf Course. A total of 31 golfers from five teams are involved.
SHU's Alyssa Fausneaucht is tied for the individual lead with Cleary's Madison Smith as both shot 80s on Friday.
The remaining Saint golfers are ranked in the Top 10. Sydney Gossett is third with an 83, Lauren Cojei and Andrea Richards are tied for fourth with 85s and Andrea Rumler is seventh with an 88.
In team scoring, Siena Heights has a 333. The Saints are followed, in order, by Cleary (365), host Spring Arbor (387), Rochester (398) and Albion (430).
The SAU Intercollegiate will finish on Saturday.
