ADRIAN, Mich. – The hosting Siena Heights women's bowling team placed fourth in an eight team field at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference's second jamboree of the season Saturday at Lenawee Recreation Bowling Center in Adrian, Mich.
The fourth place finish for the Saints was a vast improvement from the first WHAC jamboree of the season, where the Saints only managed a sixth-place finish.
Freshman Tanishia Townsend was the top-finisher for SHU, placing fifth overall with a 701 four-game series (175.25 average).
Tiffany Logan (165.5 average) and Amanda Barry (164.0) placed 14th and 15th for the Saints with a 662 and 656 series, respectively. Also for the Saints, Myriah Hamilton finished 18th with a 647 (161.75).
Concordia won the jamboree convincingly, finishing 309-pins above second place Lawrence Tech with a 6,602 total. Concordia also had the top-bowler in the field, as Malloree Ambs paced the field with a 775 (193.75).
The Saints will have a three-week break before the third WHAC jamboree of the season, Dec. 5, at Thunderbowl in Ft. Wayne, Ind.
