HILLSDALE, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's bowling team earned the No. 6 seed in bracket play at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Championships before it dropped a pair of matches in the double-elimination tournament on Saturday.
The Saints lost to three-seed Northwestern Ohio, 3-0, and then fell to four-seed Lawrence Tech, 3-1, in a losers' bracket matchup.
SHU had earned the sixth seed with a 1,893 score through three Baker games. Davenport was the top seed with 2,234 and was followed, in order, by Indiana Tech (2,192), Northwestern Ohio (2,028), Lawrence Tech (1,932), Aquinas (1,922), and Siena Heights.
Davenport won the WHAC championship with a 3-0 record in tournament play. The Panthers defeated Northwestern Ohio in the finals. UNOH finished 4-2, Lawrence Tech went 2-2, Indiana Tech was 1-2, and both Aquinas and Siena Heights were 0-2.
