Siena Heights women's basketball player Peyton Banks was named Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Player of the Week for Dec. 26-Jan. 1. This marks the second time she has been recognized in 2022-23.

Banks, a senior forward, averaged 19 points and nine rebounds over two games at the SHU Holiday Classic. Siena Heights won both games.

Banks had 20 points, nine rebounds and one block in a 98-78 win against Indiana East. Two nights later, she totaled 19 points, nine rebounds and two assists during the Saints' 61-51 win against then-No. 19 Saint Francis (Ill.).

Banks has more than 900 rebounds in her collegiate career after surpassing the 900 plateau against Saint Francis.
