Siena Heights senior forward Peyton Banks was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) women's basketball player of the week by the league office this afternoon.
Banks reached 1,500 career points in the win over Rochester on Saturday evening. She now totals 1,513 points and is sixth in program history. This week, she averaged a double-double (17.3 PPG and 10.3 RPG) to help push the Saints to a 3-0 record this past week.
This is Banks' third WHAC player of the week nod this season and the 10th of her career.
Banks leads the Saints against Aquinas tonight inside the SHU Fieldhouse. The tip is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
