Upcoming for Saints Women's Basketball: The Saints travel to Fort Wayne, Indiana to face the second-seeded Indiana Tech Warriors in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Semifinal round. The Game is slated to tip at 1:00 p.m., EST.
 
Head Coach: Sue Syljebeck earned her 300th win in November with the 119-86 win over Bethel. The win keeps her firmly at the top for all-time wins for the program's history.
 
Moving Up the Record Books: Peyton Banks scored her 1,000th career point against Aquinas on February 10, 2021. She currently has 1,127 career points to put her 9th on the all-time career points list. 
 
In the WHAC Tournament: The Saints are 10-15 overall since the 2006 WHAC tournament. When on the road in the WHAC tournament, SHU is 2-13. Siena Heights has been in the semifinal round six times since 2006 and has a 3-3 record. Four of those semifinals matchups were on the road where SHU is .500. The Saints and Warriors have met once in the semifinal round, that matchup was in Fort Wayne, Indiana, SHU was the third-seed and Indiana Tech was the second-seed, the Saints won that matchup 72-69 to advance to the championship game.
 
Series History: Indiana Tech: The Saints hold a 21-14 advantage in the all-time series. The Warriors have won the previous three meetings with SHU. Indiana Tech won both matchups this season. The first meeting was a close 76-72 outcome at Indiana Tech. The Warriors benefited from the worst night of shooting for Siena Heights in the meeting earlier this week.
 
Scouting Reports: Indiana Tech: Erika Foy is the leading scorer for the Warriors with 14.4 PG this season. Kyra Whitaker isn't far behind with 14.3. Alexis Hill is the last Warrior player averaging double-digit points with 13.4. She is also the main threat on the boards as she is averaging 7.4 rebounds a game. As a team, Indiana Tech is shooting 45.5% FG, 33.1% 3PT, and 73.8% FT. 
 
Siena Heights: Peyton Banks leads SHU with 17.9 PPG. Kelsey Wyman is scoring 15.1 PPG and Sha'kyia Parker is just under 10 points with 9.2 per game. Banks also leads the Saints in rebounds per game with 6.4. Shelby Morrow is just behind Banks with 6.6 rebounds per game. Savanah Gibson is third with 5.1. Siena is shooting 44.2% from the floor, 41.7% from distance, and 78.7% from the free-throw line. SHU is the most dangerous team from behind the arc as they lead the NAIA in 3PT percentage. 
 
Last Meeting Recap: Ind. Tech def. SHU, 59-37: The Siena Heights women's basketball team lost to No. 9 Indiana Tech in the Siena Heights University Fieldhouse on Tuesday night. Kelsey  Wyman (Blissfield, Mich.) was the leading scorer for the Saints in the loss. Wyman scored 15 points and six rebounds on the night.
