ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights softball team lost two WHAC games to Aquinas on Thursday at Christensen Memorial Softball Field. Scores were 5-1 and 12-3.
The Saints will be right back in action Friday with a noon doubleheader at WHAC opponent Northwestern Ohio.
Game one: Aquinas 5, Siena Heights 1
Shyann Truax started in the circle for SHU, working 6 2/3 innings. She was charged with four earned runs on nine hits while totaling one strikeout and one walk.
The Saints scored their only run in the bottom of the seventh on a pinch-hit single by Brooklyn Ross.

Liberti Fair and Ellie Thelen had two-hit games for the Saints. Lee Clinton had two RBI.
SHU trailed 2-0 when Clinton hit a two-run single and then scored on a three-base error to put the Saints ahead 3-2.
Aquinas retook the lead with a three-run fourth. It added seven more runs in the sixth.
