SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Samuel Parlette was the top Siena Heights finisher as the Saints' men's cross country team placed 15th at the National Catholic Invitational at Notre Dame. A total of 183 runners from 24 teams competed.

Parlette placed 46th with a time of 27:08.93. Vincent Cantu added a 76th-place finish, clocking in at 28:09.71 for the Saints.

Also, Parker Saenz took 113th with a time of 29:26.26, Matthew Robinet was 115th with a 29:28.94, and Ian Scalon de Faria finished 128th in 29:52.65.

As a team, Siena Heights compiled 443 points. Team champ Loras (Iowa) recorded 46 points while Anthony Fierimonte of Assumption (Mass.) was the individual winner with a time of 25:12.67.

The Saints will return to action on Friday, Oct. 3, at the Lansing Invitational.
