ADRIAN, Mich. – The Siena Heights men's wrestling team begins the 2022-23 season at the Adrian College Invitational on Saturday, November 5.
PRESEASON
The Saints hosted a Navy vs. Gold intrasquad scrimmage on Sunday, October 23, where numerous guys got the opportunity to compete in a match-like environment in preparation for the season.
LAST SEASON
The Saints finished the 2021-22 season with a 1-7-2 overall record and a 0-2-1 tally in WHAC play. SHU finished seventh in the WHAC tournament with a final team score of 21.5.
2022 SCHEDULE
The team competes in 18-game regular season matches that kick off tomorrow, Saturday, November 5, and ends Saturday, February 11. The Saints will host six home matches and travel for 12 competition days.

THE TEAM
Siena Heights is still a very young team but can boast returns from Randy Frailey, Christopher Sorrow (8-8), and Jaylen Culver from last year's team.
Noah Comar, a transfer from the University of Michigan and four-time State Finalist, joins the team for the 2022-23 season. Cameron Kimble also joins the Siena roster as a freshman coming off a fresh MHSAA State Final appearance. In addition, Wesley Peters is new this year, joining the team as a freshman from Greenwood, Michigan, who holds an MHSAA third-place title.
THE COACHING STAFF
Derrik Marry enters his third season as head coach of the Saints men's wrestling program. Marry is a 2015 Eastern Michigan graduate from Hudson, Michigan.
