Men's Volleyball

John Kalugar joins the men’s and women’s volleyball staff as an assistant coach. A 2017 graduate of Siena Heights University, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Sports Management.

For his collegiate career, Kalugar played three seasons on the Saint’s men’s volleyball team, in 2009 and then again in 2016 and 2017 under Coach Berrington, where he served as a co-captain.

Berrington says, "John was a very integral part of team's success the past two years.  His experience and volleyball IQ will be an asset to both the men's and women's programs.  In addition, John is a great trainer in the gym.  His addition to our staff will help move Siena Heights volleyball forward!"

The Lake Orion, Michigan native is currently pursuing a Master’s degree from SHU in Organizational Leadership with hopes to someday work in college or professional athletics.
