ADRIAN, Mich. -- Siena Heights freshman setter Zak Tucker was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) setter of the week this afternoon when the league office announced the weekly award winners.
Tucker totaled 58 assists in six sets played on the week to help lead the Saints to a 2-0 week that included a sweep of fifth-ranked Lourdes. Tucker remains in the top-10 nationally with 9.67 assists per set--a mark he hit on the nose this week.
This is the second WHAC weekly award for Tucker in his young career. He has won both WHAC awards for the men's volleyball team so far this season.
Tucker and the Saints host RV Aquinas this Wednesday, February 9, at 7:00 p.m., inside the SHU Fieldhouse.
