Masserant, Bullis Place 1-2 at Hillsdale Mid-Week Multi

HILLSDALE, Mich. -- Siena Heights produced a dominant showing in the men's decathlon at the Hillsdale Mid‑Week Multi, sweeping the top two overall finishes behind consistent two‑day performances from Kolby Masserant and Jeremiah Bullis.

Masserant claimed the decathlon title, finishing first with 6,534 points after winning six individual events over the two days. He opened the competition strong with victories in the long jump and shot put, then closed decisively by winning the discus, pole vault and javelin.

Bullis secured second place overall with 6,095 points, highlighted by wins in the 100 meters and 110‑meter hurdles. He also finished runner‑up to Masserant in multiple field events and capped the competition by placing second in the 1,500 meters.

Together, Masserant and Bullis accounted for 11 of the 20 event wins or runner‑up finishes in the competition, giving Siena Heights full control of the standings throughout the meet.
