Noah Cunningham Earns WHAC Field Athlete of the Week

ADRIAN, Mich. – Siena Heights sophomore Noah Cunningham was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the Week when the league office announced the weekly award winners on Monday afternoon.

Noah won the javelin throw at the Concordia (Mich.) Legacy Invitational with a school-record throw of 61.76m. That mark was also an A-Standard for the NAIA and currently ranks fourth in the nation in the javelin event.

This is the second WHAC athlete of the week award for Cunningham's career and the fourth weekly award for the SHU men's track and field team for the 2022 outdoor season.

The Saints will compete at the WHAC outdoor championships this Thursday and Friday, May 5-6, at Concordia (Mich.) in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
