Adrian, MICH. – Siena Heights freshman Jacob Harbert was awarded the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) men's track athlete of the week award this afternoon when the league revealed this week's award winners.
Harbert recently competed in the Red, White, and Blue Track Classic in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He took first in the men's 4 x 800m relay, running along with his teammates for a finishing time of 8:02.61. Harbert also ran the men's 1-mile, finishing first with a time of 4:19.01.
This is the first WHAC weekly award for Harbert's career and the fourth for the SHU men's track and field team this season.
