ADRIAN, Mich. -- Men's soccer battled with WHAC conference opponent, Aquinas, to a 3-3 tie on Wednesday night.

Siena faced a 1-0 deficit early in the match, but within minutes, they built up a 3-1 lead. Starting with Lorenzo Martinez, who scored in the 10th minute, assisted by Felipe dos Santos. Then, in the 13th minute, Gustavo Lira scored, unassisted. Lira would follow that up by assisting Tiago Moraes' goal in the 18th minute. Aquinas responded in the second half, scoring two goals in the 49th and 67th minutes. The match remained in a heated deadlock until its conclusion.

Siena's Goalie, Yuriy Tukalevskyy, totaled nine saves

Aquinas outshot Siena Heights 21 to 6

Siena Heights will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 18, against WHAC conference opponent, Cleary.
