Men's Soccer Ties WHAC Opponent Concordia

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's soccer team tied WHAC conference opponent Concordia 2-2 at O'Laughlin Stadium on Wednesday. 

Lewis Crombie and Samuel Fernandez were the goal scorers for the Saints. Tiago Moraes tallied the Saints' only assist on Crombie's goal in the 58th minute. 

In goal, Brady Adams played all 90 minutes totaling seven saves off of nine shots on goal. 

Both teams were scoreless going into halftime. 

In the second half, Concordia scored the game's first goal to take a 1-0 lead in the 48th minute. Crombie then tied the game up 1-1 in the 58th minute with an assist from Tiago Moraes. Less than two minutes later in the 60th minute, Samuel Fernandez scored the go-ahead unassisted goal to put the Saints up 2-1. Less than one minute later in the 61st minute, Concordia scored the game-tying goal to make it 2-2 to end the game with a tie. 

The Saints will return to action on Friday, Oct. 4, with a 5 p.m. EDT game vs Rochester Christian at O'Laughlin Stadium.
