ADRIAN, Mich. -- A Madonna-converted penalty kick led to the Siena Heights men's soccer team's 1-0 loss to the Crusaders in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play on Saturday at O'Laughlin Stadium.
Danny Swanson converted the successful PK in the 25th minute and that tally stood as the contest's only goal.
Brandon Gonzalez had two saves in net for SHU (1-9-0, 0-3-0) while Marcel Schmid made one save for the Crusaders (7-3-0, 2-1-0).
The Saints will play their next game on Tuesday when they host Northwestern Ohio for a 7 p.m. WHAC matchup.
