ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's soccer team took an early lead against Davenport, but eventually dropped a 4-1 decision in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference action at O'Laughlin Stadium on Friday.
Clayton Tomczyk put the Saints (5-6-1, 2-3-0) ahead in the ninth minute, getting assists from Matthew Robinet and Bryce DeLamielleure, before the Panthers responded with four unanswered goals.
Dzenan Catic led the way for DU, putting in goals during the 29th, 32nd and 60th minutes. Damian Goncalves added a score during the 89th.
Siena Heights goalkeeper Lucas Sagaert stopped six shots while DU goalie Mirza Harambasic had one save.
The Saints will return to action on Wednesday with a 7:30 p.m. WHAC contest at Indiana Tech.
