Paul VanThof has returned for his third season as an assistant coach for the Siena Heights men's lacrosse team. He was a four-year defenseman for Nazareth (N.Y.) of NCAA Division III.
A native of Penfield, N.Y., VanThof graduated from Nazareth in 2011 with a degree in History and concentration in Inclusive Adolescent Education.
During his time at Nazareth, VanThof helped the Golden Flyers to NCAA Tournament appearances in 2009 and 2011 and an Empire 8 Conference championship in 2009.
Before joining the Saints, VanThof was head coach of the Penfield Middle School Team. He also coached defenders for the Penfield varsity squad. He has worked several camps including the Nazareth Lacrosse Camp, the Penn State Freshman and Sophomore Prospect Camp, the Penn State Instructional Camp, and the Penfield Youth Camp.
While at SHU, VanThof will work toward his Master's degree in Higher Education Leadership.
