Siena Heights men's lacrosse goaltender Tyler Hooper was honored as the NAIA Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season. His efforts in the victories over Concordia and No. 8 Indiana Tech helped his receive this award.
The Saints defeated Concordia 14-0, Hooper earning a perfect 1.000 save percentage with 10 saves on the night.
Hooper again helped the tenth-ranked Saints in a 14-10 victory over eighth-ranked Indiana Tech with 12 stops.
On the season, Hooper boasts a .655 save percentage along with the SHU's 5-1 record overall and 2-1 in the WHAC.
Siena Heights will be in action on Wednesday to take on No. 2 Lourdes (Ohio). The WHAC contest is slated for a 7 p.m. faceoff.
