Men's Lacrosse Drops WHAC Final to Davenport

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's lacrosse team suffered a 14-5 loss to Davenport in Saturday's Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament final, which took place at Aquinas.

Tom Kreitzer and Nate Woods scored two goals apiece for the Saints (5-7) while Nick Lyons tallied one. Woods and John Holowaty made assists.

Also for SHU, Joshua Abruzzo picked up four groundballs. Goaltender Ryan Mailloux stopped 16 shots.

Parker Horvath led Davenport (9-4) with four goals and one assist. Winning goalie Logan Poe had four saves for the Panthers, who are ranked 19th in MCLA Division I.

With the regular season now finished, the Saints will await word from the Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association regarding a possible bid to the CCLA Tournament.
