BELLEVILLE, Ill. -- The 24th-ranked Siena Heights men's lacrosse team suffered a 10-9 overtime loss to Lindenwood-Belleville (Ill.) in non-conference play on Friday.
John Holowaty and Tom Kreitzer scored three goals each for the Saints (1-2) while Adam Keay, Benjamin Lama and Nate Woods put in one score apiece. Holowaty, Lama and Blake Mielcarek had assists.
Trailing 7-6, Siena Heights went on a three-goal run and led 9-7 before two Lynx goals forced the extra period. Marcus Seale scored the winner for LUB in overtime.
Defensively, SHU goalkeeper Ryan Mailloux finished with 17 saves and nine groundballs.
The Saints will be in action again on Saturday at Missouri Baptist.
