The Siena Heights men's lacrosse team was rated fourth in the Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association Division II preseason poll, as voted on by league coaches. The Saints received 50 points in the poll, with lower scores signifying the higher-ranked teams.
SHU finished behind Indiana Tech (22), Grand Valley State (22) and Grove City, Pa. (33) in the poll; Indiana Tech had seven first-place votes, Grand Valley received four, and Grove City garnered one.
The Saints placed third in the CCLA South Division standings last season before advancing to the CCLA Tournament semifinals. They ended up ranked 23rd in the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association poll.
