The Siena Heights All-Decade Series: Men’s Golf

ADRIAN, MICH. – The Siena Heights Athletics Department will be announcing an all-decade team for every SHU athletic team to finish out the year 2020. Each all-decade squad will feature a starting lineup consisting of the best athletes at each position from the past 10 seasons.

This edition features the Siena Heights men's golf all-decade team. The team consists of Ian Martin, Nicholas Campbell, Andy Myers, Jake Agruda, and Adam Schmaltz.

As a group, the men's golf all-decade team totals two Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Player of the Year awards, one WHAC Newcomer of the Year, one individual medalist, six all-conference distinctions, one WHAC all-academic, and one NAIA Scholar-Athlete award.

Ian Martin – Martin was named both the 2015 WHAC Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year. He was also listed on the league awards sheet on the 1st-Team All-WHAC squad all in his freshman season. Martin is the lone representative from the 2015 WHAC championship Saints team to be selected all-decade.

Nicholas Campbell – Campbell was the 2013 WHAC Player of the year. He was awarded All-WHAC first-team honors in both the 2011 and 2013 seasons, making him the only men's golfer on the all-decade team to have multiple all-conference awards on his resume.

Andy Myers – Myers is the only individual medalist for the Saints in the past decade and he earned it at the very beginning of the decade in 2010. That same season he was also one of the members of the All-WHAC men's golf first team.

Jake Agruda – Agruda joined teammate and fellow all-decade member, Nicholas Campbell, on the 2011 first-team All-WHAC squad. It was the only all-conference selection of his collegiate career.

Adam Schmaltz – Was a 2012 first-team All-WHAC selection as well as an All-Academic and NAIA Scholar-Athlete. He is the only member of the all-decade team to earn academic awards at both the conference and national levels.
