FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- The Siena Heights men's golf team finished in a tie for fourth place at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championships, which wrapped up Friday at Coyote Creek Golf Club.
Nicklaus Zanotti ended with a three-round score of 229 and placed 10th. He closed out the tournament with a 78.
Joe Forest had the Saints' top final round, carding a 74. He totaled a three-round 233 to tie for 13th.
Tim Combs tied for 16th with a three-round 234, Robert Kowalenko took 32nd with a 242, and Nick Sanscrainte finished 33rd with a 244.
In team scoring, the Saints had a 933 and tied with Lawrence Tech. SHU finished behind Davenport (890), Indiana Tech (921) and Northwestern Ohio (924) and ahead of Madonna (935), Cornerstone (943), Lourdes (966), Aquinas (979), Marygrove (1,032) and Concordia (1,034).
Davenport's Jorge Benitez was the tournament medalist, totaling 219 (73-75-71).
