JACKSON, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's golf team sits in second place after Friday's competition at the Spring Arbor Intercollegiate, which is taking place at Cascades Golf Course. A total of 37 golfers from six teams are involved.

Tim Combs was the leading Siena Heights golfer on day one. He is tied for second with a three-over-par 75.

Also for SHU, Robert Kowalenko is tied for fifth with a 76 while three Saint golfers -- Nicklaus Zanotti, Joe Forest and Nick Sanscrainte -- are fied for ninth with 79s.

Spring Arbor's Cody Lysher is atop the individual leaderboard with a 73.

In team scoring, leader Spring Arbor has a 304. The Cougars are followed, in order, by SHU (309), Cleary (318), Lourdes, Ohio (329), Albion (329) and Olivet (345).

The SAU Intercollegiate will finish on Saturday.
