Men's Golf's Kowalenko Named All-WHAC First Team, Zanotti Honorable Mention

Siena Heights freshman men's golfer Robert Kowalenko was named to the All-Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference First Team while senior teammate Nick Zanotti received an All-WHAC Honorable Mention, as announced by the league on Friday.

Kowalenko finished among the Top 6 performers in WHAC jamboree play, compiling a five-round total of 375 (75.0 average).

Zanotti, who was also named to the WHAC Champions of Character Team, was among the Top 12 himself with a five-round score of 383 (76.6 average).

Both Kowalenko and Zanotti shot school-record 69s for their top rounds of the fall season. The record rounds occurred during the WHAC's third jamboree, which SHU hosted at Lenawee Country Club. The Saints also tied a single-round team record of 292 on that day.
