JACKSON, Mich. -- Robert Kowalenko shot a second round 72 to finish in second place at the Bill Bockwitz Intercollegiate Open hosted by Spring Arbor.

After day one, the Saints sat in 6th place after shooting a 316.  Day two, the Saints shot a 304 to maintain their standing in 6th place.

Kowalenko led the way for the Saints shooting a even par of 72 on the day, carding a two day total of 146, finishing two strokes behind the winner, Charlie Phillips from Mount Vernon Nazarene.

Nick Zanotti carded a two day total of 157 (80-77) finishing in a tie for 30th.  Tim Combs jumped up from a 36th place spot on Friday to match Zanotti with an 157 (81-76) as well.

Mount Vernon Nazarene won the event with a 594 followed by two teams of Spring Arbor squads with 603 and 610. 

The Saints will return to action on Monday when they travel to the Lawrence Tech Fall Invitational on Monday.
