Campbell Solid Again as SHU Men Remain in Fourth in WHAC Standings

LIMA, Ohio -- Nick Campbell carded an even-par 72, tying for second on day one of the third Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference jamboree, which took place at Hawthorne Hills Golf Course.

Alex Willnow added a one-over-par 73 to tie for seventh and Joe Forest shot a two-over 74 to tie for 10th on the 6,710-yard par-72 course. WHAC Jamboree #3 will wrap up on Wednesday at Coyote Creek Golf Course in Fort Wayne, Ind.

As a team, the Saints' total was 300 on Tuesday -- 11 strokes behind Davenport. SHU was the fourth-best WHAC team on the day -- and also sits fourth in the WHAC fall season standings with two rounds to play.

Davenport (877) is atop the standings, followed by Northwestern Ohio (907), Cornerstone (908), Siena Heights (921), Madonna (925), Indiana Tech (929), Lourdes, Ohio (946), Aquinas (952), Concordia (1,026) and Marygrove (inc.).

Davenport's Adrian Balbas was the best golfer on Tuesday, finishing with a three-under-par 69.
