Colosimo Top-10 Finish Leads Men's Bowling at WHAC #1

LIMA, Ohio -- Zachary Colosimo placed 10th in total pin count to lead the Siena Heights men's bowling team at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference's first jamboree, which took place at Westgate Lanes. A total of 68 bowlers from seven teams competed in the four-round event.

Colosimo had the Saints' three highest games -- 235, 234 and 232 -- en route to an 850 series (212.50 average). Colosimo's average was 13th-best in the field.

Also for SHU, Aaron Dear placed 25th with a 726 series. He fired games of 226 and 212, compiling a 181.50 average. Justin Lempicki was 26th with a 723 series (180.75 average), including games of 203 and 190.

Trevor Goodfriend added a 627 series to take 29th for SHU (174.25). His high game was 199.

The Saints finished with a team score of 6,281 to place seventh at the event. Team-winner Davenport had a 7,345 -- led by individual leader Sean Black, who had a 941 (235.25 average).

Siena Heights will return to competition on Saturday, Nov. 15, when it competes in the WHAC's second jamboree, whch will be hosted by Concordia.
