GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights bowling team earned the No. 4 seed in bracket play at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Championships before it dropped a pair of matches in the double-elimination tournament on Saturday.
The Saints lost to five-seed Concordia, 3-0, and then fell to third-seed Lawrence Tech, 3-2, in a losers' bracket matchup.
SHU had earned the fourth seed with a 2,126 score through three Baker games. Northwestern Ohio was the top seed with 2,292 and was followed, in order, by Davenport (2,291), Lawrence Tech (2,201), Siena Heights, Concordia (2,022), and Indiana Tech (2,019).
Davenport won the WHAC championship with a 3-0 record in tournament play. The Panthers defeated Concordia in the finals. Concordia and Lawrence Tech had 3-2 records, Northwestern Ohio went 1-2, and both Indiana Tech and Siena Heights were 0-2.
