ADDISON, Ill. -- James Kraushaar placed 54th individually while Kenneth DeGraaf took 59th as the Siena Heights men's bowling team competed at the Midwest Collegiate Classic at Stardust Bowl. The Saints placed 35th among 56 squads while a total of 390 bowlers competed.
Kraushaar eclipsed the 200-mark in five of his nine games. His high game was 236. He also had a pair of 225s, a 207, and a 203 to compiled a 1,791 series and 199.0 average.
DeGraaf's high game was 227 as he passed the 200-mark on four occasions. He rolled two 220s and a 201 while on his way to a 1,771 series (196.8 average).
Also for SHU, Zachary Colosimo had games of 221 and 212 to go into a 1,675 series (186.1 average). Paul Farley added scores of 226, 209, and 202, while Ryan Ramirez had a 205 and 201.
The Saints had a team score of 8,403 while team leader Notre Dame, Ohio, finished with a 9,566. The high bowler of the event was Notre Dame (Ohio)'s Christopher Via, who had a nine-game score of 2,111 (234.6 average).
