ADRIAN, Mich. -- Kenneth DeGraaf and Aaron Dear placed 12th and 13th, individually, as the Siena Heights men's bowling team finished fifth at the first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference jamboree, which took place Saturday at Lenawee Recreation Center. Eighty-four bowlers from seven teams competed.
DeGraaf tossed a 781 series, finishing with a high game of 233. He also threw a 194 and 191, compiling a four-game average of 195.25. Dear had a 765 series (191.25 average); his team-high game was 234.
Zach Colosimo was 19th for the Saints with a 735 series (183.75) and 206 high game while Andrew Morrison took 20th with a 734 series (183.50), including games of 195 and 193.
Also, James Kraushaar placed 27th with a 714 series (178.50) and high games of 216 and 200. Paul Farley tied for 20th with a 708 (177.00), including a 222 game, and Justin Lempicki tossed a 196 game.
As a team, the Saints had a score of 6,744, finishing behind Davenport (7,776), Northwestern Ohio (7,526), Lawrence Tech (7,195) and Indiana Tech (7,095), while finishing ahead of Concordia (6,672) and Aquinas (6,471).
