LIVONIA, Mich. — The Siena Heights men's basketball team struggled at Madonna, suffering a 90-67 loss in WHAC action on Saturday.
Nick Sobush led the Saints with 16 points, knocking down 8 of 9 free throws, while Jasiah Rainey finished with 13 points and seven rebounds.
George Kalatzis and Jonas Tester each scored 12 points, with Kalatzis adding six rebounds and Tester contributing five boards.
Madonna jumped out early and never trailed, building a 50‑28 halftime advantage behind hot perimeter shooting and consistent pressure on both ends of the floor. The Crusaders hit nine 3‑pointers in the opening half and controlled the tempo from the opening minutes.
Siena Heights (8‑14, 4‑12) played more evenly after the break, scoring 39 second‑half points, but Madonna (16‑6, 13‑3) maintained its cushion and pushed the lead as high as 25 in the final minutes.
Siena Heights shot 41.3 percent from the field but struggled from the perimeter, connecting on 4 of 18 attempts from 3‑point range. Madonna countered by hitting 15 3‑pointers, finishing at 44.1 percent beyond the arc.
